The Creative Ring Challenge is a horizontal track of FIWARE technologies as a part of the Hack4FI – Hack your Heritage hackathon 5.-7.2.2016 in Aalto Design Factory in Helsinki. The Creative Ring Challenge is powered by CreatiFI accelerator project. If your solution uses FIWARE technology and has business potential, you can be awarded up to 50 000 € to develop your solution.
FIWARE is an open cloud-based infrastructure for cost-effective creation and delivery of Future Internet applications and services. These APIs are public and royalty-free, driven by the development of an open source reference implementation which accelerates the availability of commercial products and services. In this hack track CreatiFI helps SMEs and teams to develop their ideas towards a real scalable business with FIWARE open source ready-made technology components. CreatiFI is FIWARE technology accelerator project funded by EU. The target of to support innovative startups and SMEs in service and product development in creative industries. You can use also other data sets in your challenge work than introduced in Hack4FI site.
This funding is available for companies and teams working in the creative industries sector.
